Special Notes on the LongView Product Line

Avocent announced a new LongView line which enhances the video capabilities of the popular LongView and LongView Companion products. These new products are designated with a "2" in the 5th position of the part number. For example, a standard LongView Extender has previously been designated LV200 and LV210-AM; these are now LV220-AM.

This new line of products improves video quality and should enhance the overall experience with video stability and quality at all distances up to the maximum (500'). There are a limited number of the x10 series units available (dual power supplies - one for the receiver and one for the transmitter). The older x00 series (a single power supply, power transmitted over the Cat-5) has been discontinued.

It is important to note, the LVx20 line of products IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EARLIER LONGVIEW PRODUCTS. For example, you cannot use the LongView 220-AM transmitter with a LongView 210-AM receiver.
