The new Autoview Sparrow, has two major improvements over the previous AutoView. First, the AutoView Sparrow has built in security at no additional cost! Second, you can expand your AutoView Eagle without losing a channel, making two chained AutoView Eagles handle 16 computers instead of the previous 15 computers -- just add a CDUAL cable to interconnect two chassises and you have a 16-port switch.

The AutoView bundles the best of electronic KVM switching into a compact, easy-to-use format that provides unparalleled control and easy of use. Name each attached computer for simple access and switch through the AutoView's Onscreen Menuing system. Select the active computer through the switch's buttons, the onscreen menuing or easy to use keyboard hot keys. Automatic system scanning is also standard in the AutoView.

The Perfect Match for the ever-changing Server Room

In a large server environment, change is a fact of life. That's why AutoView is hot-pluggable. New servers can be added or removed without powering down the switch or other attached servers! If the AutoView is powered down unexpectedly, the Keep Alive feature ensures continued emulation and prevents server lock-ups.

An AutoView system consists of an AutoView unit and a cable assembly for each attached computer. Connecting cables can be 6, 8, 15 or 30 feet long. Order a separate cable set for every computer in your configuration. Please refer to the table shown in the right hand column below.

The AutoView supports the full range of VGA monitor types. PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse peripherals are supported through the rear of the unit.

For added compatibility with your installed equipment, the AutoView features an embedded mouse translation capability. Operated through the AutoView, your PS/2 mouse will work with any attached PC or server, regardless of whether the computer has a PS/2 or serial mouse port.
